The blades are manufactured with 1095 HC spring tool steel. 1095 HC steel is excellent for toughness, ability to take and hold an edge, and ease to re-sharpen. The blades are Jeweled, a process that involves pressing a wire mesh bit on the blade flats to create indented swirls to assist the blades retain oil for corrosion control.

Styles with blades over 4" receive an upgraded snap sheath, (vertical carry only).

Keep the blades oiled. The blades will spot, discolor, and rust if they are not cleaned and oiled after each use.
