This incredible Nanda Devi 2 ply throw is hand woven with finely hand spun cashmere yarn.  It takes three months to make by hand. The hand woven traditional artisan techniques and the exceptionally high quality cashmere used to spin the yarn ensure that this blanket will last for many years or even decades to come.  Nanda is happy or joyful and Devi is goddess in Sanskrit. It is also the name of a Himalayan peak in India.
